Welcome to the wine growing region AHR

The Ahr region is considered to be the “German red wine paradise.“
Dreamily the river Ahr meanders round narrow bends through a quaint rocky landscape. The vineyards  cling to sparse rocks.

Already the Romans knew about the climatic advantages of this wild-romantic valley, so they planted the first vines there. In addition to the “king of the red grapes” – the Spätburgunder, the Frühburgunder is also considered to be one of the most valuable of this region.

The top-level wines of the Ahr can only be produced with a lot of effort as they grow on the precipices of this valley. But a high wine quality is worth that ardous work.
